This is a television review for the Panasonic Viera TC P50 V10. One of the best 50 inch plasma screens, the Panasonic Viera TC P50 V10 is a must buy for people who want to view a picture quality which carries the richest blacks and one of the highest picture resolutions. It has great styling and this model has one of the most energy saving LCD panels which are there in the market. Although one must remember that LCD panels itself consume much less power than other tube sets.

Priced at an approximate cost $1220 it is definitely a great draw and provides with a host of facilities. As said earlier, this television set has the richest of blacks and provides several controls which can be used to get a great picture quality. It is able to handle 1080p/24 sources and hence one can go beyond the THX quality which would be ruling the roost until very recently.

The set has a single glass sheet look which gives this set an extra sleek look which is sure to please the eye. In fact the V10 model is much better in terms of looks as compared to its predecessors. The most striking feature of this set is that one can refresh the screen at 96 Hz and can handle 1080p/24 sources from devices like blu ray devices. This set has amazingly well anti flicker and hence provides a good picture aspect.

Although Panasonic offers much lesser facilities and tweaks as compared to the other LCD televisions, it does offer a lot of additional controls in its interface. There are controls like THX, Studio Ref and other dim by design mode and another additional called custom.

This television model lacks in features like picture in picture and other features, although it does have some standard features like SD card slot which allows play back of still images on the television screen. There are excellent connectivity features with four HDMI outputs.
